Speed Fighting
Learn effective self defence techniques developed by Bruce Lee
Speed fighting by Andy Gibney
This six volume video collection covers self defence principles and techniques from both JKD and Eskrima
Here's a breakdown of whats covered on each volume:
Speed Fighting 1.
Bruce Lee was all about the interception. Hitting the opponent fast and quick. In this episode you see how to attack off the lead hand and lead leg to take your opponent out with one single direct attack delivered to the most devastating targets.
Speed Fighting 2: Power Techniques
Speed is great but often what finishes the fight are the power techniques. Covering knees, elbows, palm strikes and low leg kicking
Speed Fighting 3: Attack By Combination.
Elbows, knees and headbutts are covered on the focus mitts and in application. also covered are defences against blunt trauma weapons, an introduction into knife defence and multiple attack scenarios.
Speed Fighting 4: Limb destruction's
While not the secret they used to be, limb destructions (gunting) are rarely shown in this much detail. Covering the destruction of the arms, legs, hands and knee techniques this will help become an evermore effective and efficient fighter.
Speed Fighting 5: Sensitivity training
BJJ has this on the ground, Wing Chun trains this in chi sao, the Filipino Martial Arts trains this in a drill called 'hubud-lubud' - the tie and untie. This drill is a curriculum on its own. Trapping, locking, self defence and weapons training can all be improved with this one drill. It's like looking into a bottomless well of knowledge.
Speed Fightng 6: Knife Defence
We now live in a knife culture and learning knife defence is essential. In this episode you'll learn a beautifully simple system to help you deal with most attack scenarios.
You'll learn how to use improvised weaponry and well as empty hand defence.
You'll also learn how to disarm a knife and how to leave a situation safely.
